Newly managed team Metro took on
Grand Rapid Torpedos on a Saturday morning. This day saw the same
figures lacking a 4 on the Metro formation.
A fierce battle was shown between the two teams, with both of them turning up the offense. The match ended with 3 points going to Metro. However, Metro failed to move up a spot on the standings after Trinity United XI's defeat to Black Pearl Pirates, who are only 1 point apart from Metro.
Manager Dapianoplaya commented: "It was a very good game. Both teams played superbly well. My team were consistently increasing the margin during the first half. The other team were then decreasing the margin in the last half. But sadly, another disappointment follows for one side."
The "Saviour" for Metro was once again in action, only this time creating chances for his teammates. "The chances were getting better and better, this time it wasn't for me." said Graham Somner of Metro.
According to the current standings, the top three teams are very close in points, and one decisive match would change the standings of these teams. The season has come to its end and these three teams will battle it out to earn a promotion in the League Of Extraordinary Managers.
