Xpert Eleven is a football manager game where you manage a fictitious football team. The thought behind the game is that you compete with your friends in a league that you create yourselves. A league must contain at least 6 teams and there is no upper limit. You can also have teams in more than one league.
You manage your team/teams in good times as well as bad. Your tasks consist of selecting your team and working out some cunning tactical moves. You will be contacted by agents who will try to sell you players and you can also sell your own players.
To buy players you obviously need money. The fictitious currency in Xpert Eleven is called "econ". As in the real world a football team in Xpert Eleven is dependent on sponsors. The team needs a main sponsor and can also earn extra money by taking part in sponsor activities. The main sponsor pays all your fixed costs like player salaries and other expenses so you do not have to worry about them. Also sponsors can provide you with extra money with which you can buy players, order form training or dirty tricks (if your league allows dirty tricks). These dirty tricks are unconventional methods you can use against your opponents in order to weaken their teams.
A user who creates a new league becomes the league admin for that league and invites whoever he/she wants to join. The league admin has full control over his/her league. He/she can inactivate teams and make decisions such as when seasons start and end, how often games are played and other rules that apply in the league. If the league contains more than 12 teams the league admin can also decide whether to have more than one division and which league system to use. The league admin, however, does not have any advantages with regards to his/her team. Everyone plays under the same conditions.

It's all just football. Here, you can join private leagues, create private leagues, and arguably the most fun is joining Xpert Leagues which are official leagues, also with no pay required, but these are leagues with many many subdivisions and are somewhat harder. You can also challenge other teams for friendlies in the same league with your league team. And also, with your Xpert League team, you can challenge any team in that particular Xpert League and can organise your line-up in such a way that you feel confident to defeat the other team(A reasonable formation. Say, 3-6-1, for eg, is not allowed)...
It's all just quick-simulation, which means the match is simulated within minutes(2-3), not like FIFA or PES games, and THIS has nothing to do with luck. Of course there is home advantage in many cases when teams of similar skill duel...
This is not a site meant only for football lovers, it has very much to do with management which just expresses itself through football... But yes, you will find more football lovers there...
Once you get to the site, click "Join" and once you get your profile filled, you can place your first footsteps in this adventure...
Then, you can join leagues. But, you will not be able to join in a league and start playing immediately unless it's the season break(the few days' gap between 2 seasons). A private league season takes more than 2 months, but usually less than 5. But creating leagues, and inviting friends is instant. Once you have 6 teams with 6 different manager, you can start your OWN league... The waiting list applies to Xpert Leagues too. If you enter the league with a new team, this will be quick. But if you click on wanting an existing team, you may get a 6 or 7 skill team(which is the approximate skill of most existing teams in all Xpert leagues). You can enter into the waiting list nice and early so that you get a team in the higher divisions of the Xpert League you want to join...
To join a private league, once you go to the "Lobby", click search and search for the League ID, which is 112049 for LXM. To join an Xpert League, in "Lobby", click Xpert Leagues, and choose new team/existing team, and send request...
There are other features like Player Transfers which are there in the "Rules" once you join...
You can also choose to be a VIP member meaning you get various privileges like you can join upto 3 private leagues, and create 2 own leagues, get more stats, direct team-to-team transfers, etc.. For that, there are many schemes for which you have to pay(with Credit Cards, as well as other methods)... NOTE, that becoming VIP member is NOT a neccessity in xperteleven. If fact, a huge majority who play the game are not VIP.
You can, as I said, create your own league and invite other friends to play with you in that League, by giving them the League ID, and telling them the procedure...
Explaining more, The reason you have to wait till season break is because the League would be currently ongoing. After that, you can start playing in a regular season with 1 or 2 "match-days" in a week, according to the private league you've joined. In Xpert Leagues, there is 1 league match-day a week... There are also League Cups in all Xpert Leagues, and also in private league, if the Admin(the league creator) has started a Cup. Leagues which put one "league match" per week, can also keep a Cup match a week, which means there will be 2 matches for your team in 1 week...
It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be online during the match(there is a match time, largely the same for a given league, in all divisions). It's ALL about your tactics... You can, on a good day when your team has a good form, defeat even the best team in X11 if you have the right tactics, and the opposition manager makes a little mistake...
And as of now, you can't make substitutions between matches(because as I said, it's Quick-sim), But you can choose in your tactics to replace slightly injured players. Badly injured players are substituted by default...
In a league, it will be like normal football leagues in which a win gives 3 points, draw gives 1, and loss none... The one with the highest points at the end, in a division, wins that divisions, and if you're in lower divisions, the top so many team get promoted to next division[no. of teams promoted is according to the league format(?- read Rules)]. In Xpert Leagues, top team is promoted to next division, i.e. if you're in 7:x division now, and you win the league, you get promoted to 6:x division. The 2nd placed team goes to a play-off match, and a win will secure promotion...
You have to choose a Sponsor every month, and you will get 1,000,000(1 million) econs every week as "Sponsor Activity". "Econs" is used as money, for transfers, specific player training, and ALSO, you can give Bonus to the players of so many econs in tactics to win a match. If you win that match, you lose the amount of money you've put as Bonus, if you draw, you will lose 25%, and if you lose, you won't lose any econs. But giving bonus is your choice...
You get mails about youth players roughly every 3 weeks, and you can choose to give them a chance in the first team, if you think they are good enough. Youths cost 30,000 econs to promote. Agents, there are 14 of them in Xpert Eleven recommend players to you frequently, The agent offers are "evaluated" which means that the info is reliable. Some agents are cheats and in the Transfer Market, you may get a lower skilled player now and then, due to that... There's also a "Pool" in Xpert Leagues as well as in Private Leagues, where you can bet money(100 000 in Xpert, 200 000 and varying for others in Private), with 6 choices(in case of smaller league, there may be lesser choices) of matches, on which team will win, or draw their matches, and you may win a Jackpot, if you get the most results right!
