A Friend in Freund ?
Empyreon FC are back in the news
with the signing of Belgian international Freund Scholl. This was
expected after Dan McRanner had retired after the end of last season.
However, Things happened too quickly than expected and Empyreon FC have already bought their long term target.
"Scholl was on our radar, our scouts were watching him and we got him when we needed him. To add to this, I am happy as we bagged him when more than 8 parties were interested in him. I have seen him play and He is a wonderful playmaker with quick feet.", Said the manager in the Press conference unveiling their new player.
When asked about joining this club, Scholl said, " I always wanted to play for a big club, and joining Empyreon only makes my dream come true. I know I am at the right place to up from here, to increase my level of playing and only become better and better. I will definitely help the team win more accolades for the future."
All said and done, Freund Scholl has a wonderful record to boast of. He has some 37 assists to his name, and also has scored some wonderful goals, including a hat trick in the cup final with his previous club.
apart from that, He is reads the game like a super computer analysis data in GB's and is also quick enough to leave a Hayabusa in a dust of cloud !
He was given the no. 25 jersey, of ex-Empyreon playmaker Nick Branston.
