A Laughing Stock
What a season, in just a span of
three months, the fortress, the Kaloor Stadium that is, turned into
something poorer than a hut. Yes indeed, something no Viva fan would
have ever imagined. The season have come to close and Viva have ended
it with the worst home record in the division. Its not something like
its the only thing thats hurting, Viva will now once again return to
division 1.
Angry fans had been calling for manager Deepak's blood since the season was halfway through. Still the chairman had reiterated his confidence on the young man. As an icing on a clearly bitter cake, Viva finished off the season with yet another home loss and the fans even attacked the team bus.
"Well we have to say it had been coming. The poor showing last season was indeed an indication of what was to happen. He said he would do everything to amend it and look now where we have ended up. I want that guy to resign.", an angry fan said.
Meanwhile Viva are in good company to go down to division 1. Two time champions RMC have also confirmed their place in division 1 with yet another away loss. It is heard that RMC and manager Sujith Krishnan are the only excuse put upon by the Viva manager to escape the sack. "If former champions can go down, why can't we?".
