Manager: Benami
Team:     Dunhill Players

Halfway there

With the season now at it's halfway point, Benami and his Dunhill Players find themselves at the top of Division 2b after a very tough set of opening fixtures.

"We've made it known that we've been away far too much already this season and so far we've done what was needed and come away from those games with at least a point each time. It's an old cliche but it rings true "Win at home and draw away and titles are yours for the taking"

"Saturday sees us off to the seemingly managerless Chapiszczoki, a team which has conceded 20 goals in it's last three games whilst we have scored 13 in our last two."

"The squad is looking OK at the moment but the return of Chula and Kapil cannot come soon enough. They should be back for the second leg against Rockers team in the cup. It seems odd that once again we face a division 1b side. Our record against them this season has been good to say the least but we really have no interest in a cup run and will be using both fixtures to gain experience for one or two players who are developing a bit slower than others."

"Form everywhere else is good and the introduction of on-loan midfielder George Best has given a boost to the others in the the middle who feared a long hard run of games. He has already gone up himself, he arrived as 14-14 and he now sits 16-15. I'm sure Bad Boys will be pleased when George returns to them after the season ends."
