Hell knows no fury about Metro
Last week, Devils United FC defeated
Metro with a clean sheet in the 1st round of the cup match. This time,
Metro returned to demolish them 6-0 with their full fighting squad.
'They say the taste of revenge is bittersweet, but i find it to my liking.' said manager Dapianoplaya when asked about this excellent result. 'They didn't stand a chance. However, i have only myself to blame because i sent out my 2nd team which was a bad idea. They have no captain and playmaker and it was our defeat.'
This time, the game was a different story. The whole team was pumped up with fury due to the fact that the previous round was never meant to happen. Terence Rufus, who was consistently on bench since his injury, earned a hattrick. Graham Somner and both the strikers each got one. Added up altogether they get 6 goals, each with a wonderful display of team work.
'It is interesting to say that Terence has finally delivered at the important moment, but he must show this consistently to boost the confidence of the whole team. I and the rest of the boys just can't rely on Somner alone, and Somner himself knows it.' added Dapianoplaya.
