Into the lower division.........
Viva Kerala plunged into yet another defeat and they slipped into the dreaded relegation zone, this time with very little hope of staying up. Poor form had kept Viva at bay for the most part of the season things continued that way again as the manager fielded a very young side yet again. There was again 7 players under 20 in the team sheet and it ended losing big time against the title contenders Bad Boys. It was a total domination for the home side as they had far more possession and created many more chances than Viva.
Things are looking quite bleak, and inside sources has revealed that the manager is already preparing the team for the lower division. The team need a win in the last match and also hope that any one of the three teams just above to lose. "Its a situation from my own wrong doing and things wouldn't have been so disastrous had i been a little more careful. There's no blame attached to the players.",the manager said when asked about the unfamiliar situation for the club.
Its Viva's first season when they had not finished 2nd or above. The worst season in history also has got the supporters so angry that the manager got a rotten egg in his face while shopping. "Get that rascal out, we are losing to even lower division teams in friendlies. So even if we get relegated i don't see Viva winning anything next year too", said an angry fan.
