Into the semi final!
After their win against Sneakypimp
in the quarter final of the LXM Champions League Funny11 look at the
road ahead. Sneakypimp had major share of possession in both the halves
with their five man midfield.There were opportunity for both the sides
to win it but the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
There was a controversy early on when Sneakypimp appeared to take the lead when Xose Capi headed home from close range but he intentionally handled the ball.It was disallowed which clearly annoyed their manager. As the match went into extra time both the managers held their breath. But it too ended without any thing rattling into the net.
Then it was up to the penalty kick takers and the man between the post.Jimmy Horrocks has a very good record in the shootout. He didn't disappoint. It was tied at 3 apiece.Then Bengt-Åke Graan finished his frustrating day by skying the ball high above the crossbar.Montgomery McWhite scored for Funny11 to take an advantage. Then the pressure of the cup told when Frank Table's shot was excellently saved by the Man of the Moment Jimmy Horrocks.
"Hope we reach the finals this time after losing out in the semis last year. Looking forward for a good few weeks ahead." said their enthusiastic manager MAZHAR
