Manager: Deepak
Team:     Viva Kerala

It begins all over again

Viva Kerala finished off their pre season friendlies with a 1-2 away win against Juventus Club. Viva played four friendlies, won three and lost one. The manager believes it has given the ideal preparations for the upcoming season and said that he was pleased with how the team is gradually gelling.

"Its been quite a good pre season for us. We tried out somethings and it have paid off on occasions. We did lose against the newly promoted Stallionz Fc that too at our home. Thats a bit worrying and i still haven't got a clue how we lost that game. We are indeed working on it and we hope when we meet them in the league we can pay back in kind."the manager was quoted.

Zeferino Alvalade was Viva's preseason hero scoring 7 goals in two matches. When asked about the players absence in the other two friendlies, the manager replied, "The first two games were enough for him to show me that he has been improving all the time. I just wanted to know how Wammo would work with Hänninen and thats why i gave him his match time."

The manager was asked about the season predictions and he tactfully didn't mention anything about his team, " I think this year too, it will be the two teams that fought it out last season. Bad Boys and Sparks indeed, Sparks will again set the benchmark at the start of the season as they have comparitively easy home fixtures. For relegation?? i don't know everyone have a chance".
