Patil delighted by player's maturity
Manager Eshan Patil is delighted as
his team managed a win over Trinty United at home with a 3-2 scoreline.
It was a bit poor show from Black Pearl in the 1st half but they have
taken a 3 goal lead in the 2nd half just inside the space of 7 minutes.
It has became very tense moment from Black Pearl as Trinty fought back
as they managed to pull 2 goal back. In the end Pirates hang on to
their 1 goal lead until the end and managed a win over Trinty United.
The win also ensured a revenge for the club as they were previously
beaten by Trinty United away from home twice so far this season.
"Trinty United are a fantastic side and it was a great game to be honest and we are delighted to snatch a win in such a great game."
The win has insured that Black Pearl will remain 2nd in the league 1 point clear and 2 points adrift from current leaders.
James Ahmed broken the deal lock in the 50th minute with a great shot on goal inside the penalty box after a great work from Inzamam Sheikh. Martin Geller doubled the host's lead just after 2 minutes with a stunning strike from 30 yards and once again Inzamam Sheikh was involved in the goal. Tony Adams got the 3rd goal for the club on the 57th minute which increased the host's lead and ease the pressure of Pirates. The youngster has kept improving in every match and manager was delighted by youngster's improvement.
It wasn't the end of the show as Trinty United fought hard to come back into the game and they were missing huge number of good chances on goal. They finally managed to pull 2 goal back but Pirates denied them to get their 3rd goal.
"After managing a 3 goal lead I thought they will give up but they didn't. They have shown a great fighting spirit. My players have shown a great mentality and maturity in this game by not allowing Trinty United to get their 3rd goal but they taken the game a bit too easy when they got a 3 goal lead. We were a bit lucky to get away with that. Overall the strikes were fantastic today and it was a good team performance but remember we were not at our best today."
Black Pearl's next game will be against Madrid Galacticos away from home and manager is hoping that his players will produce a good performance.
