Pressure on Metro
Metro are struggling in the 1st
division after a promotion during the previous season. However, they
defeated Fusion FC with a clean sheet of 2-0.
Graham Somner, whom shined in the previous season compared to other players has not been performing to his best due to the fact that there are superior midfielders in his midst.
"All the other teams have a minimum strength of 6. Which means that they have at least 4 highly skilled players in their teams. I, on the other hand, carry a team with the same amount of skill from the previous season. Still, my team had a wonderful result in this round." said manager Dapianoplaya.
Colbert Sheridan too was having a tough time due to the fact that the other captains are very fired up and superior to him. Lionel Brady has been performing poorly, missing both his penalty shots in 2 consecutive cup matches.
Manager Dapianoplaya added, "We are giving in double the effort than we did before. Aaron Lennon has been put on the bench with high hopes and Goran Radmanovic has been consistently trained for being a potential captain. Enrico Romeo is still very unpredictable on his consistency. Willie Dearden has already been injured and I cannot to lose any more players for a period like what happened to Lawrence Brumwell."
However, statistics show that the team is not in total unfavour. Their form is still on the high and the aftermath will hopefully be balanced out.
