Rai on Julian, League & the next match.
Parithosh Rai took out some time out
of his busy schedule ahead of the preparations for the match against
sixth position holders in LXM 2d,Joga Bonito.
Interviewer: Any update on Julian Ellis?
Boss: Yes!He was doing well in training today.He is out of the injury and fully match fit.
I:That means he is in for the next encounter against Bonito?
B:I think he is.Though I am yet to decide whether he will start or not.Maybe he'll pop in as a substitute.I had a talk with him this morning,now lets see.
I:What do you have to say about being on top in the league.
B:Its my first season here so it feels good.We are progressing well and hope to keep it up.
I:Do you think our team can win the league?
B:Its too early to talk about that.We have more than half of the season in front of us.Maybe we can talk about that somewhere near November.
I:Joga Bonito is your next opponent.Second away match of the season,first one didn't end well.
B:We lost our first away match but that doesn't mean we can't perform away from home.I think we can win our next fixture against them.
I:They are in the 6th position.How tough can they prove to be?
B:As I said its too early to talk about any team's caliber.We aren't taking them lightly.But I think we have what it takes to beat them on their home turf.We'll try to dominate them in the center of the pitch.
I:Your team recently defeated the former league leaders.How does it feel?
B:The players worked hard and our tactics proved beneficial.The win has certainly given us the boost we needed.
