They Really Do Destroy Football
Viva's first match of the season
ended in a 0-0 draw with Fusion F.C. Viva completely dominated the
possession and created a host of chances but really couldn't convert.
Fusion players were seen in the Viva half only once in the entire game
and that was an ugly long ball too.
"Now we know they destroy football on the pitch too. They clearly came here just for a draw. They never even looked like trying to get into our half. All they did was park the bus in front of the goal. This is very poor indeed. They may have got all the billions of bucks in the bank, but you need creative players and a manager with heart to play a football game.", manager Deepak said in the post match interview.
The manager also had something to say about his opponents line up. "And where was their 'Most Expensive Player'. We hear that he never comes for training and he is a bigger player than the club and its ambitions. You can see him in night clubs and bars giving lifts to pretty girls in his brand new Lambo, but never playing football. You don't have to look beyond to see why their players are so uninspired. This Shayak is turning out to be a Mark Hughes who can't control his players and cannot play a brand of football that you can identify with a big club."
"Next we face Chintoo Candy FC who seems to completely opposite. They have a dynamic manager who i guess is a lover of attacking football judging by his previous matches. Hopefully we will have a football match then. They have great spirit playing together and thats how they are different from the ones we just played", the manager added.
