When or Will they learn?
Another comfortable home victory sees Benami and his Dunhill Players now just TWO points away from the title.
"Statistically we would have to lose two games heavily and draw the other to go to the wire so two points is the definite line to cross for promotion."
The latest match in an extraordinary season saw the Players entertain Samuelll's Hornets and it was the away side who took the lead on 39 minutes.
The Hornetts must have thought that their luck was in as the pressure they had applied finally paid dividends.
However the lead lasted just four minutes as Mick Bewers, a veteran at 27, steered the ball home from close range.
With the Hornetts playing an untested 3-5-2 formation, cracks began to show early in the second half as the travelling side tired and lost focus.
Three goals in the last 30 minutes turned the game in to a mauling by the Players as Bewers, Tham-Boom and Krasotkin added to the home tally.
"I know I sound like a bit of a stuck record when I say this but, VERY OFFENSIVE is not a good tactic to play. Amplify that with a formation that hadn't been used recently and pressure against a more than competent midfield and Hey presto! Three points and plus three on the goal difference."
"Next up is our last away fixture at Sanramese FC. It would be nice to get the points we need there but we aren't too worried when they come as long as they do."
