Youngsters' day out
Viva Kerala entertained Rocking11 and played out one of the most boring encounters in recent times at Kaloor international stadium. The Viva manager had put 7 players who were 20 years and under in the starting11 and unsurprisingly the team didn't do anything much other than play out the whole 90 minutes. Things got a much harder beating again as influential striker J Hänninen got injured yet again this season. Preliminary check ups have made it clear that he will miss the remaining two games of the season and also the start of next season.
"We wanted the young guns to have match practice and i don't care if that means we slip into the relegation zone. At the moment we stand out of that mess even though with just one point, it won't mean the end of the world if we did get relegated. Today's match reminded me of some preseason friendly with nothing much created owing to the lack of togetherness while playing", the manager commented.
"We are also planning to do the same against Bad Boys whatever happens, the young players will fill the team sheet.", he added.
